Lionesque Group recently concluded a partnership with Manufacture New York to help create a New York Fashion Week experience: Launch NYC that makes sense to designers, press, buyers, and the fashion loving public, by combining a runway, retail and trunk show experience for emerging designers. Launch was mentioned by WWD, Time Out NY, The Wall Street Journal (see below for press mentions)
Melissa Gonzalez from Lionesque Group reached out to us to design and elevate the experience of the space with 3 designers as our key inspirations: Heart and Noble, House of Horology and Nicole Lenzen. After our design meeting we decided to create a story board which integrated Launch and the 3 designers to create a major custom made installation of Launch NYC logo with elements of each designer in it. Along with clean and modern decor to accent the room.
We revealed our installation during fashion week and stayed in the location for a few days. We created a chandelier with Launch NYC’s logo in mind while using elements from each designer to create our piece. Heart and Noble has a beautiful high end luxury jewelry collection with lots of gold elements so we decided to spray paint gold flowers and accent the logo with gold textured studs. House of Horology is a mens watch collection which has elements of leather so we decided that instead of painting Launch NYC logo with black paint, we would wrap it in leather. Lastly, Nicole Lenzen has an elegant couture women’s ready to wear collection which inspired the crystals we used to create a chandelier affect along with glass terrirums. We also integrated Launch NYC royal colors by adding red carnations to give the logo/chandelier some pop. The backside should look just as good as the front! So we completely covered the back with white and black leather. We were extremely happy with the installation and most importantly so was the client! Check out our pics and let us know what you think?!
